How do I prepare for my injectable service? To avoid a higher probability of bruising, we recommend stop taking over-the-counter blood thinners, such as aspirin or ibuprofen, 72 hours prior to your appointment. A few days prior to your appointment avoid consuming alcohol, waxing or using any type of hair removal product on the area of injection, and stop using topical products such as tretinoin, glycolic acids, retinols or any other anti-aging products that could potentially add irritation to the area of injection. Consult our nurse practitioner for further instructions or questions. DM or call us for more details.

Do injectable procedures hurt? After your consultation, the injections themselves will be a fast process. You can expect the whole session to last about 30 minutes with the option to numb the area with our numbing cream or a dental block to ensure nothing hurts! The provider may want to schedule a follow-up appointment within the next couple of weeks to check up on your results and satisfaction. This is a great opportunity to maintain your results.

Laser- How do I prepare?Try to avoid sun exposure prior to your laser hair removal session as it is more effective. At the same time, your skin will also be more sensitive to the laser. It’s important not to wax prior to your appointment, shaving is always recommended the day before and exfoliations if possible. The laser needs to be able to find the root of the hair in order to treat it.
