To minimize bruising, stop taking over-the-counter blood thinners like aspirin or ibuprofen 72 hours before your appointment. Avoid alcohol, waxing, or hair removal products on the injection area a few days prior. Also, stop using topical products like tretinoin, glycolic acids, retinols, or any other anti-aging products that could irritate the injection area.
