 Overview

CO2 skin resurfacing is a cosmetic procedure that uses carbon dioxide lasers to improve the appearance of the skin. This advanced treatment works by removing the outer layers of damaged skin, promoting new skin growth, and stimulating collagen production. The result is smoother, healthier-looking skin with improved texture and tone.

How It Works
During the CO2 resurfacing procedure, a laser emits short, concentrated pulses of light that target the skin. The laser precisely removes the outer layers of skin, allowing the underlying, healthier skin to emerge. This process not only removes imperfections but also stimulates collagen production, which is essential for maintaining skin elasticity and firmness.

Treatment Indications

CO2 skin resurfacing is suitable for a variety of skin concerns, including:

  • Wrinkles and Fine Lines: Reduces the appearance of fine lines and deeper wrinkles, particularly around the eyes and mouth.

  • Sun Damage: Addresses issues related to sun exposure, including age spots, uneven pigmentation, and rough texture.

  • Acne Scars: Effectively improves the appearance of scars left by acne, providing smoother skin.

  • Skin Texture and Tone: Enhances overall skin texture and tone, making it look more youthful and vibrant.

  • Enlarged Pores: Minimizes the appearance of enlarged pores, leading to a more refined complexion.

  • Loose Skin: Tightens sagging skin, particularly in areas such as the face, neck, and décolletage.

Expected Downtime

The downtime associated with CO2 skin resurfacing can vary based on the depth of the treatment and individual healing responses. Here’s what you can generally expect:

  • Initial Recovery (1-2 Weeks):

    • Patients may experience redness, swelling, and a sensation similar to a sunburn immediately following the procedure.

    • The treated area may also begin to peel as the outer skin layers slough off, which typically starts around 3-5 days post-treatment.

    • Most individuals can return to their regular activities within 7-10 days

  • Post-Treatment Care:

    • It’s crucial to follow the post-treatment care instructions provided by your practitioner, which may include:

      • Keeping the skin moisturized to promote healing.

      • Avoiding sun exposure and using sunscreen to protect the new skin.

      • Avoiding strenuous exercise or activities that may cause excessive sweating for at least a week.

  • Long-Term Results:

    • The final results of CO2 skin resurfacing may take several weeks to fully manifest as the skin continues to heal and regenerate.

    • Patients often notice significant improvements in skin texture, tone, and overall appearance, with results lasting for several years, especially with proper skincare and sun protection

Our TOP INDUSTRY LASER INMODE

InMode Laser Diolaze Treatments use a diode laser beam that passes through the skin to reach the hair follicles. The penetrating energy heats the root of the hair, which prevents future hair from growing. The process is virtually painless as the laser has a built-in cooling system to counteract the laser’s heat.

Conditions Treated

The InMode Laser Diolaze treatment is used for laser hair removal. Patients can use this treatment to target stubborn hair and decrease the time of their personal care routine. The treatment is able to target the underarms, back, lip, face, neck, legs, arms, stomach, and bikini area

What to Expect

Methods for treatment depend significantly on the patient’s unique characteristics, such as hair color, hair type, skin tone, and body area desired for treatment. Dermatologists will evaluate the patient to determine the best InMode Laser Diolaze plan for their specific needs. Patients can expect to need a series of treatments as laser hair removal works best when hair follicles are mature. Due to one’s hair being in various stages of growth, it takes several treatments to get it all. For more information on whether you are a candidate for InMode Laser Diolaze, please make an appointment with our medical aesthetician. We  will determine your skin type and current skin condition. If you are eligible for InMode Laser Diolaze treatment, we will work with you to create a session schedule that works for you and helps you achieve your desired appearance.

What is the Plus 90 Treatment?

Plus 90, or Votiva  as it is called in the USA, is a technology developed by InMode (the company that makes the Morpheus8) to improve feminine health. It is a comfortable and safe treatment that can rejuvenate the external and internal genital and vaginal tissues without the need for surgery. The Plus 90 treatment delivers radio-frequency energy to these tissues in exactly the right amounts to stimulate and rejuvenate their health and appearance.

Plus 90 is a very simple treatment that has helped many women around the world. Childbirth, aging and weight loss can all be the cause of poorly supported vaginal structures which can result in sagging and laxity of the genital tissues and discomfort during sexual relations or urinary incontinence. Childbirth and aging will often cause widening of the vaginal canal which can result in decreased sensation and stimulation during sex. Atrophy or thinning of the vaginal lining can cause hypersensitivity, dryness and pain.

Previously, women did not have many options to improve these genital and urinary issues. Now, with this new technology, women have more options to address their feminine health concerns of pain, poor blood circulation and muscle problems in the vaginal region, often caused by Genitourinary Syndrome of Menopause (GSM) which affects 50% of post-menopausal women. There are now choices that are effective, easy and painless, including the Plus 90 in our clinic.

  • Length of treatment: 30 minutes internal/30 mins external

  • Indications :

    • Laxity and wrinkled appearance of the labia minora and vulva

    • Reduced blood flow and sensitivity of the vaginal tissues

    • Pain sensation caused by atrophy of the vaginal lining

    • Decreased level of sexual interest and self-esteem

    • Weakening of the vaginal muscles

    • Loosened vaginal canal (especially after child birth)

    • Urinary stress incontinence (involuntary dripping of urine with cough, laugh etc.)

    • Dryness or lack of lubrication during sexual relations
